How does abusing guards count as pk skill?

You just stood there and watched while mobs did your job.

It should have been "albatrouse + chantar vs fielca + balifor guard + balifor guard" And they hit fairly hard.

3 vs 2 is not something to be proud of as a victory.

Using the game enviroment to win is a skill. Regardless of this or that, he used parts of the game to enable him to emerge victorious. He didn't force anyone to fight him in front of guards, they could have recalled. They chose to ignore the guards. I see people complain all the time, you took 2 to bring down just me, fair fight, well they were hunting 1 with 2, all he did was even the odds. The guards are a part of the game just like a potion or scroll. No one complains when someone brings a heal prep to a fight, why complain when they use a guard mob in the fight. Overall intelligence.

By your logic, if a malthros were to walk up to me, and absolition (for however it's spelled) himself, and died in front of me, that was due to my amazing pk skill.

If corey actively did something to accomplish it, that's one thing. Taking advantage of what the environment does to damage others, and then finishing them off, does not count as your personal pk skill.
  7. kamij · 5 Oct 2004
Rurh, by my logic if he takes advantage of things the game offers him to win, thats still skill. Notice he didn't agro you first. He waiting until after flags were placed. Whether he did that randomly or on purpose, he still capitalized on it. Recognizing an oppurtunity is a skill. Now if your dumbass enough absolution yourself, then he got lucky. If you had waited for him agro you, guards would have assisted you, and you would have been skillfull for manipulating the situation as he may or may not have done.

A Malthros? Holy shit, when was I cloned?!?! :P

The guards might not count as PK skill, but fielca living, and one of them dying would still be a win for Fielca.

staying there with guards hitting you and dying like a n00b is a skill in itself it seems. It's not like Fielca were hurting anyone overly much.
