     This is a narrow tunnel, that had just been carved out not too long
ago by hand. It is quite dark and stuffy in here, you feel as though you

    11+ in zone is illegal i thought but not if your wild i guess. Maybe now wilds will grow balls and fight without any tricks but i dout it. They will probly just deep rent forever now.     If its against the rules to have more than 10 in a zone, BSP violated the rules asl by entering the zone when they knew wild had 10 in there. Also, maybe I'm missing something, but I see Azur enter (1), then 8 more people enter (9), then Pab enter (10). Where is your 11th man?

    The point being, its not just 10 in the zone, its 10 doing the zone. If it were 10 in the zone, you wouldn't be able to fight in zone and it would be an idiotic rule. You sound like a moron whining about something as obviously fair as that.

    As far as cheating goes, I would say Bottino is the cheater, going linkdead after looting. He should be slain and his eq given to wild, then abyssed for a while. No one anyone could see his actions as anything but illegal.

    I would say that's slightly different Ddog. First off, from what I can tell, while Wild may have had more than 10 people in same proximity, they did not have 10 doing the zone, ie in the same room while fighting, etc...

    Also, CV is a high zone and you were doing big mobs, which is against the rules. It seems wild did not actually use 10+ to fight any mobs, and they were sitting at the entrance of the zone. While you could say that the CV thing was ambiguous, you can't really say the Drac Tower thing is. That would be like claiming you can't run a group of 10+ into lag room in kalaman. The idea of the rule is so people don't try to defeat tough mobs using a bunch of players, and while the line is fuzzy, it still needs to exist.

    You really can't count. There were 10 people in the BSP group in the room (until some died) and 12 people in the Wild congolmerate in the room fighting.

    I'm not really sure I'd stake any argument on comparing the difficulty of the stupid cleric or the demons versus some hill giants.

    Really? I can't count? I didn't think anyone was stupid enough to think I was speaking about fighting other players. The whole idea of the rule, as I've noted multiple times, is to prevent players from doing mobs using multiple-group tactics, that has nothing to do with PK.

    And the argument is that if they didn't use 10+ players to defeat any significant mobs, then its fairly kosher since they barely got to the entrance of the zone.

    BSP most likely did use 10+ players and had 10+ in same room for sure when nobody was fighting. They were also doing a significantly more difficult zone rather than hanging out at the entrance of a 4 person zone. I don't really know how to spell it out any simpler for you guys.

    When I went to a small liberal arts college in the States (any Knox people around?), as a freshman I enrolled in junior and senior science classes since I was so far ahead. However, when I did my Master thesis at Harvard, sure things were a lot more difficult and challenging than my university in Amsterdam. America has terrible community colleges but also some of the best universities of the world. Just like every country has good and bad schools. It's all in the eye of the beholder and no way all foreign students find it 10 times harder...

    Looking at this thread, this is what I see:

    1) Random people, not wild, make fairly logical intuitive comments about the log, stating their opinion.

    2) People like Manu and other Euros respond with personal insults in broken english.

    3) Americans make logical and defensible statements about their arguments.

    4) Euros do some more name calling in somewhat unintelligible grammar, insulting American Universities ironically, and refuse to look at the actual argument or the fact that Bottino deadlinked in what is obvious abuse of game mechanics.

    5) Manu puts his foot in his mouth x 3

    Also, I think the original point about universities was that the US generally has the most prestigious ones outside of perhaps Oxford and Cambridge. I'm not sure where people decided that meant people were claiming there aren't easy colleges in the US or that all colleges abroad are crappy. The point was that the most well-known and respected school are in the United States. I'm sure if you go to a community college in the US or some unknown school, it may very well be easier than a college in Europe. No one made any claims about the public education or the average of all educational institutions.

Any job they get they will be retrained for that specific job. Most people don't go to college because they care about getting the most elite education available. You incompetent retard. Secondly, if you're ever going to use quotation marks, use them correctly. You finish a sentence inside the quotation marks. You don't put the punctuation mark outside of the quotes. ie- "Divine intervention"? That isn't even a sentence, so don't try and correct non-natives on their English when they're making more sense than you. You obviously seem to be a very proud American. Quotes is slang for quotation marks, and if someone doesn't put an apostrophe in "you're" or uses a question mark outside the QUOTES, who cares? There is no impediment to understanding there. Spelling words incorrectly, using them incorrectly (divining vs divine intervention), etc while calling someone dyslexic is a different case however.

    To be honest, calling someone an idiot on a forum because they use slang and or split an infinitive or something lame like that makes you the idiot, not them. And American high schools are fine, that's why the top universities have plenty of American students. You are just as bad as Manu for resorting to stupid personal attacks instead of actually looking at the argument.     The PUBLIC american school system is decent. Granted it could be ALOT better with the amount of cash we are pumping into them but they get the job done.As for higher learning in the US..... All I can really say is that our schools are richer so they can pay for the best teachers. Its really that simple and IMO it has very little to do with them being in the US or another country.

    Now Im going to talk about the log since thats what these comments are supposed to be about......

    Personally I think both clans should be bitch slapped since I really don't like eather one.But Since that won't happen (unless my contact finds all of the home adress's that I requested!) I guess I should say something about the log itself.

    I always like when people setup smart traps instead of just the typical ambush that a 5 year old could create.Granted this trap didn't take a huge amount of brains but for arctic its nice.I personally miss what shadow did a few wipes ago. using their brains to dominate the mud instead of the typical numbers game most clans have used for many many wipes.

    I am not trying to get into this whole penis measuring contest between American schools and other countries schools. Cambridge and Oxford are not the only notable colleges outside the US. McGill and the Sorbonne are extremely well known if you've ever read a book, and that is just to name a few.

    The reason the US school system is in such bad shape is because of REALLY bad money managment.Our teachers get paid next to nothing so all the smart ones end up getting better paying jobs.Only the most dedicated teachers keep teaching for 20 some odd years.

    Tenured professors actually make a lot of money.

    If you're referring to elementary, middle, or high school teachers, that's because teaching is also a pretty easy job with a lot of benefits and a pretty general skill set.

    Lots of people want the opportunity to work with kids, teach something they have only a bachelor's degree in, and to have 3 months of the year off. Compare that to something like management consulting, I-banking, engineering, etc....would you really pay a 3rd grade teacher 60k a year? Its a question of supply and demand. Not to mention, many public schools are already underfunded. People who complain that someone who teaches cursive deserves some massive salary are really living in a fantasy world.

    Alright robh don't take this personally... but how are you incredulous about missing 40% of school and getting a 2.9GPA? Thats not an impressive feat, especially in high school, and if thats what you get in college have fun being a bank teller or some other painfully boring idiot job since in America your not going to get into any grad schools with those grades or one of the few really good jobs that are available with only a BA.

    American colleges... the good ones... work like this. As long as you go to maybe half the classes and do some of the work and cram one full night before the final exam you're pretty much guaranteed a B and tons of free time... anything less than a B can mean three things... your either a complete moron, your a party animal, or your a loser who muds too much, or a combination of the above.

    I was very sad to see the Beryv Brigade die in the full log on xanitha's.

    Not all classes require you go to lecture to do well, I've had a few classes where the professor said class attendance wasn't mandatory(in a 200+ person class, you can't really do role call every day), since the general information that you need to know could be found in the books and library. You generally have an easier time getting a 4.0 if you attend classes since you have a better undertsanding of what's important and what's not.

    P.S. GPA doesn't mean jack if you're going for an easy major. There's a large difference here between getting a 4.0 in general studies, history(caries depending on your area of focus imo), comp sci, or engineering.


    I've only had a small amount of time to log on arcitc, but is wild back in full force and fighting the reminants of bsp or has things died back down again? Also has anything been done to Bottino for dropping link?

Anyone using numbers as part of words or as words themselves may as well just have neon sign nailgunned to their forehead that just says "Idiot".
