Moving Through the Badlands
    The road struggles to cross the rocky terrain, often becoming simply

That's funny. He makes it sound like he wasn't prepared the previous times.

He'd be embarrased if I showed the log of his utterly pathetic attempt to kill me while I was mainhealing a 2man group doing Torak, and I stood there continuing to mainheal (knowing this was what he was waiting for me to do) while he blew spell after spell on me.

Gee, which do you think will win?
a) a low rank cleric who didn't even have all the beads spells.
b) a heavily spelled and ranked up cleric who leeched spells of KoS until he quit, and uses an AMS wand so basically anthing that a) has is useless.

So awesome, you squashed someone who hadn't a chance.. congratulations on your amazing victory.

Point is you still died, no matter how many times you got away his goal of killing you succeeded. Maybe you don't think it, but a low ranked cleric and a high ranked cleric still have the same saves. If he was a really spelled up cleric, he could of easily killed you with some animate dead but he isn't, he is only decently spelled. So stop whining you got beat and you are scum because you are the person who drives people away with your mud thinking they will become like you if they keep playing. Congratulations you proved nerd is contagious.

Actually, no that wasn't the point (that at least I was making).

The point was that he was trying to pass off his prior failures with a feeble excuse, when it turns out he simply got lucky this time.

Every previous time my mem list was organized heavily around zoning. That Torak fight was pitiful, and on IRC I was talking about how I wish I had it logged the Torak fight to show how badly I fucked up. I am not trying to pass off anything as being "better", I knew that I was better equipped, better spelled, better prepped. The point wasn't to give you a fair fight, the point was to make you die. My mem at the Torak fight consisted of 5 harms, 2 holds and 1 silence and 3/4 sunbolts. Not exactyl great mem when the other cleric can just heal itself or run. The damage was there but keeping you down wasn't. When you died I had 7 harms, 4 holds, 3 silences. I was much better prepared memwise, as I stated. You were going to die sooner or later, it was just a matter of time.
