Ok deoph, I see you armchair quarterbacking every log on this site so you must be pretty elite to have such far reaching knowledge. Why is it that I doubt you would have the rocks to say who your chars have been so WE can analyze your performances. I would put a few paychecks on the fact that You havent done shit, and probally arent shit, so should probally just shut the fuck up.
i believe the point brafu was trying to make (and i agree 100% with him) is that all those suggestions you've put forth are really bad moves, and the idea of him having chested recalls that were stolen is obviously not a valid suggestion, as recalls were looted off his corpse.
1) healing self after a missed bash when 3 people walk in is bad. it's just prolonging the inevitable. esp when your groupie is unreliable and you're outnumbered.
2) kender thing was adressed
3) i see nothing wrong with people commenting on what "should" have happened or "could" have happened, as long as they make a decent suggestion. If nothing else, it gives the newbies who like reading logs some insight as to what they can do, rather than freezing up.
the basic point is: zexx made some really bad decisions, and apparently makes them often, judging by the number of times he's appeared on this page.

Maybe in the future you could ask people to time stamp their logs so we will be able to see down to the exact second when something happens so we will never again make such a horrible mistake. Then nothing will ever again be taken away from your "elite" link and triggers.

Those are questions i was asking. What happened was what i wanted to know. There are a few logs of me on various chars including one with this name if you look around. Nothing special even one death but i certainly had no chance to recall cuz i did hit my alias. I don't claim to have elite pk skills but I can recall, and would have. I can see from the log most of what happened and if he was trying to hold then he deserves critisism.

I have known towns since my first wipe thanks. All of them. If you were trying to paint me more newbish then you I would have tried something that at least sounded plausible. If i was soloing during bsd time (And warring them) I would have had a recall trigger set up whatever patricks connection speed it was still limited by the speed of human thought, which all you had to realize was one thing:recall time. He had to realize shit passed him which way oh north, then go north, then the connection speed would come into play.
Psychodad, I've been all varieties of pk from the ambush to the ambushee to the big clan battle to the 2 on 1 to the 1 on 1 to the 1 on 2. How much experience is ok for you? Certainly I am a rookie to some but i do know how to recall and not get guard whacked.
I know I have one of the fastest links to the mud, being >40 ms 85+% of the time...
The 1-15% of the time when your link jumps from 20ms to around 800 is a real killer though. :/
Link really isn't too much of an issue though. Even if you spam, Arctic can only process 4*(?) commands per second, meaning if someone enters the target's room, then goes e, then w then bashes, each of those 3 comands have a delay.
People are starting to analyze pks way too much. Whatever happened to just enjoying a log, or flaming it? :P
* It's a 250ms delay on another MUD, forget what arctic's is, but it feels around the same.
