I'm no big fans of theirs, and im sure the feeling is mutual, but I've seen alot of posts from people like them telling others like Benwa or you when they're flat out wrong (thieves and backstab, pk, whatever), and they get a 'stfu asshole' response. Yeah I've done it to them too, shit happens when you use info from pre-2000.

    I think rurh just can't comprehend that someone's personality in real life can be completely different than on the mud. Most players enjoy being assholes on the mud but are actually quite pleasant in real life. It's a game, which rurh doesn't and never will understand, and people enjoy acting out different things that they couldn't in real life. What rurh will do, however, is continue to post millions of messages that are all pretty much relating to the same thing, that is trying to persuade people how assholes should not be allowed to play the MUD (in other words a form of discrimination).

    Your reading skills are also impaired. I've never said that assholes shouldn't be allowed to play. I've said that the mud shouldn't be so that non-assholes are descriminated against.

    When Renshai was around. We talked about real life and stuff in irc but we never said something like "wow he wont log, he must be a jerk in real life too". And we never compared anything in the game to real life.

    Leave it a game. Why is that so hard to do.

    That is not an impact on your real life, you are still just playing a game (regardless of which game it is). An effect on your real life would include psychological or social changes, things that other people can see...

    The simple fact, Rurh, is that people like you simply cannot comprehend the idea of people being able to relax and play a game without having to act like they do in everyday life. People play games to ESCAPE reality, not so they can have it on a different level. It's pople like you who can't tell fantasy from reality, the only difference between you and the idiots who recreate video game violence is you have it backwards. Instead of thinking the real world is like a game, you think a game is like the real world.

    Don't see why anyone thinks roleplaying is anything. Just because it is the fantasy world means we have to act homosexual. It's a game. We try to become the most powerful players/clan and so it never ends. Real life references don't matter, it's a game. It's not a drama, to make it so takes it from it's true self, that of a game. Our characters are not seperate entities. They are our avatars in this game. When someone attacks a char they are not attacking that char, they attack you, so getting justice with another char is allright, as it's all you.
