I have the distinct feeling mavlad doesn't like me.

Why would I want to be a great pk leader that rules everyone?

For some odd and strange reason, I don't build my ego around how many other people I beat up.

Addy: I think mavlad was trying to say that I won't ever be everyone, which technically he's correct.

Either that, or through his speaking to me in 3rd personish, I'm the 'him' that's going to be a pk leader in 2 wipes, which will be possible since I will never be everyone.

Since when does the fort belong to only 1 person? If your going to lay claim to a zone then atleast make it something a tad more important than a lowbie zone that repops with people in it. =\

Hell, I have NEVER EVER had anyone tell me to leave that zone simply because they were there first. And if anyone did tell me to leave..... I would laugh my ass off and tell em no. Its kinda like trying to claim the nook's tree as your area simply because you happen to be the one to place the board =P

PS. I have to agree that this is a piss poor log.

If by "everyone" you mean the remaining 20 people with no other reason to live than a text-based rpg where they become "great".

I don't think that's a particularly great ambition. Enjoying the game is one thing, playing to compensate for a fragile ego and to convince yourself you're talented is lame. eg. Corey/Adam

I love it how people think just because this is a text game that it will die in a few years and that no one in their right mind would keep playing it. IMO, only dumbass's flock to the flashy new games simply because they like all the shinies. Arctic is a good quality game and it's survived because the people who play it happen to like quality.
