The Tomb of King Strongfoot
This tomb seems to be the most plain, but yet for some reason you can't
help but feel respect and admiration as you stand on the polished stone.
Light shines into the room from some unknown source. Looking at the walls,
they are covered from ceiling to floor in hieroglyphics. King Strongfoot
was the first and greatest king of the Que Kul tribe. He led the people to
the Plains and carved the grass with his mighty axe so that his people
might live in peace. When that dream did not come true, and the Dragon
Queen brought her mailed fist down upon the land of Krynn, Strongfoot
picked up his axe and marched off with his best warriors to do battle with
the evil dragonarmies. Only two of his men returned to the village after
the war. Strongfoot had died defending the plains with his 30 men because
the knights refused to send help for the Que Kul. His men returned with
their lives, and Strongfoot's body. He was lain to rest in the Age of
Darkness, 143 AC.
