I'm looking forward to seeing some good logs between the two top clans in the game, but isn't it a bit contradictory to claim a war is in retaliation for 'evil wild imms cheating' when, like reed just pointed out, if Weenors actually had the power you claim they do, the war will be over before you guys try to log on tomorrow.

When Finns exploited the hell out of that anger bug and ambushed BSP with it, nobody seemed to be complaining when this very same evil, wild-dominated immortal staff punished the hell out of them.

Screw it, I'm going to kill some Maza's because Adepali took away my cleric regen.

I could have given other reasons for breaking the 'peace agreement' we made 10months ago with Wnr but I doubt anyone cares. I mean yea.. these guys did hound CORE to trade them a nightbringer/klij CORE got from a pk with MAEL and that's reason enough anyway. Or it could be that one of the best players to this game now, REED(ACARAJE), had his characters deleted only a few hours after killing someone in Wnr(BUT I CAN'T KNOW FOR SURE THAT HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT SO THATS NOT WHAT IM SAYING HERE). Yea, almost all he does is pk. So what. That's the game. It could also have something to do with these Glorified Kos becoming a vacuum of equipment. It doesn't affect MAEL at all, we'll manage regardless. But other clans.. maybe not so much. Or maybe we just hit Wnr for no reason whatsoever. Who cares. THAT is the game.
  10. Lyam · 24 Dec 2008
haha, your funny, talk a lot of shit without knowing anything :)
wanna whine about how wnr got kilij and bringer? yet we didnt complain when you guys suddenly ended up with the gear from ghak when he got randomed.
wanna bring out the "Wild imm cheator" card, yet its the wild imms that get the most scrutinised(? spelling ?) on the mud, the acaraje thing came from another imm
so how about we all face the facts, bsp (mael this wipe) have never been known for keeping their word, we were expecting an ambush ever since mavlad gave his word, we were just suprised it took this long
this ambush was just good timing, was like 1tic after we killed the mob that u guys walked in, but as i said before lets see how well you guys fare now that we know
    BRING OUT THE TRASH! :)
  11. runulv · 24 Dec 2008
Acaraje was clearly the definition of trash, I'm surprised it took so long time for it to be deleted. As far as I can tell, Maels are the ones whining here - that their precious lil trash randomer (which they still protected or tried to) got deleted.
    Well merry christmas everyone.

  13. Brafu · 24 Dec 2008
I don't know for sure, but I was under the impression that one part of the peace deal with Mael.... was that we also had to peace their little randoming buddies. Who, btw, almost immediately started harassing Core, trying to get us to gank em (I guess either seeing if they could somehow get Mael to war us for owning their trash ass).

It was a smart move to get us to peace them as well though. Since even an idiot would know we would immediately hunt them down and kill them till they were lvl 10 again.

What makes Reed/Acaraje great? Randoming neuts with implicit support from the strongest clan on the mud doesn't seem to impressive.

And his battle healing is some of the worst I've ever seen - go ahead and read the logs and disagree
  19. Heo · 24 Dec 2008
Although - props to Mael. Extremely well timed, through luck or skill, and you made a significant enough first strike that WNR will be hampered fighting back.
  20. brandont · 24 Dec 2008
you know i learned a long time ago, if you expect your going to get ambushed, then you need to be doing the ambushing. no offense, but wnr has become a better version of renshai just waiting for someone to kill them!

  27. Heo · 25 Dec 2008
Did anyone say he was cheating?

I think everyone is just saying he's just some dude who likes to trash pk and is a pretty mediocre battle healer.

    Which imm deleted him?
  28. Brafu · 25 Dec 2008
Hate Reed? I don't hate him. In fact I would rather group with him than many in Mael because he at-least seems like a ok guy when you get to talking to him and he also seems to just wanna have fun.

Do I agree with his playing style? No. Because he pk's with trash chars that typically never have eq, and when they DO have eq it's almost always eq he got from pk. But hey, to each his/her own and if thats how he gets the most fun from the game, then ok.

    Mavlad

Not my fault the majority of the mud's population seems limited to "U r a fag!" in their debating skills. Also not my fault if people decide to try and debate me when it's obvious I get great pleasure from it, especially when they are not up to the task.

But, if it'll make you feel better, I'm just as addicted to this game as you are... the only difference is that I suck at it, and you don't.
  29. Kalis · 25 Dec 2008
I have nothing against Reed, other than the fact that he likes to camp my stronghold. But I agree that saying he's "the best player to the game" now is pushing it. PK is a great way to add some life to the game, but it mostly serves to keep the old players interested, and if you look at the comments its always the old clan rivalries that get everyone fired up. If you want to single out the players who are really helping the game right now, you need to look at players like Vallejo, or anyone in Maza, or that last surviving dude in KoS with 47 alts, who are willing to group random neutrals who play at, shall we say, a far less than elite levels. We probably only get one or two legitimate new players a month, so it's probably better for the mud, long term, if we try to give them a taste of group zoning even while they're still trying to find their way to Kalaman.

Oh, and if anything whoever plays Gostoso has my respect for having some balls. From what I'm hearing, Myth/Weenor/Core were asked to peace them by Mael, but at least Gostoso asked us for peace man to man, without ever implying that Mael would be unhappy with us if we refused.
  30. mavlad · 25 Dec 2008
who said mael would be unhappy?
mael is unhappy when someone gets deleted next day after killing WNR. maybe it was unlinked but yeah..
  31. Leeroy Baggins · 25 Dec 2008
    Dang, who was deleted?
  32. Kalis · 25 Dec 2008
Acaraje was deleted, but I think Mavlad is, whether deliberately or not, misstating facts. Acaraje did kill Weenor the day before his deletion, but he also has been killing/trying to kill Weenors, and pretty much every other clan, for several weeks before. Actually Mav, if you're going to accuse someone of cheating, let's not forget that Adepali and Astarte are both still very good friends with Maza, who suffered for more deaths to Reed and his friend than Weenor did, and have far more immortal power at the moment. AND THEY TOOK AWAY MY REGEN!

Sad that nobody leaped to my defense like this when I was unfairly damned for a month because Aristox was biased against me and my opinion (of the size of his manhood.)

Actually, I only killed maza when they killed me, probably could count the times on one hand. I killed BST, Core, and WNR. But its all good, the imms have deleted all my chars this wipe so i'm use to it!

It's been pretty adamantly declared by Mael that Acaraje isn't Mael, even today. So I'm still wondering what Mael was deleted? Or is Mael finally relenting now and allowing Reed to be Mael Posthumously?

Perhaps Core/Maza/Wnr/BST should be unhappy because they were killed by a player cheating? If you don't do it you won't get busted for it.

this may not be a great christmas present for wnr, but im sure it is very appreciated by all the readers of sufs.

so in that regard, thank you santavlad

Kalis looks pretty biased and misstating facts.
When did i accuse someone in cheating?
But Acaraje got deleted right after killing WNRS not after BST or whoever else.
Do you know the answer why?
My guess is easier to whine with an imm alt into wiz channel.

PS Aristox is mostly unbiased imm in Arctic, even after he was one of those 2 imms who abyssed and deleted my char in Arctic ever.

"When did i accuse someone in cheating?"

Mavlad, I apologize if I misinterpreted what you said, but "mael is unhappy when someone gets deleted next day after killing WNR. maybe it was unlinked but yeah.. " sounded like an implicit accusation of cheating.

I mean, if I said "So Bob got promoted to overlord, and the next day everyone in Mael moved up to rank 30. Maybe a coincidence, but yea..." wouldn't it look like I'm making a sly accusation of cheating?

"But Acaraje got deleted right after killing WNRS not after BST or whoever else."

I will defer to you on that issue. Clearly, you guys have a much closer relationship with Reed than I do, so you have a much better idea of who he killed or didn't kill, and when he killed, whereas I could only guess at his non-BST kills based on second hand accounts. I was merely pointing out that there are immortals with far more power, and far less accountability, than Weenor's 33s, and that these immortals have their strongest ties outside the all consuming bsp/wild rivarly. If you guys say that Reed didn't kill a single Weenor until the day before his deletion, despite his numerous attempts, and that he didn't also kill, for example, Astarte's mortal, or one of Terk's heavily unknown mortals, or his high profile, poorly kept "secret" mortal, that day, then I will trust your integrity and take your word for it.

Now, please tell me when I was "biased and misstating facts"?

This is an appeal to Rurh:

Please come back. The text-based blood of the Weenors is on your hands. Without a common enemy to unite against, the mud has turned against itself and painful infighting has resulted.

Rurh, we implore you, return to the mud and take your rightful place as King scapegoat and icon of hate so that our world may be at peace.
