Not playing arctic for 3-4 years already and reading the logs occasionaly I notice quite some changes in game, but looking at Suf's site I see no changes at all! All the same whining and accusation like 3, 5 or 8 years ago - mages area overpowered, trash pking, boting and lack of real battles etc. Moreover people are also the same! Weird...

Trigger bashing would also be considered an auto-attack. So would trigger casting hold person, web, paralyze and so on. Having those would allow you to plan your next phase, i.e. next person to bash, fragging target if target is immobilized by specific spells.

Trigger eating/drinking at hungry/thirsty also leaves you free to do something else.

Trigger recalling at being summoned by enemies allow you to avoid PK at times when you were least expecting it.

Trigger looting/splitting coins saves you the time of scrolling up to see the amount to split during times when your group are fighting a huge amount of mobs.

Tick timers tell your group's spellcasters when they can rest (should the time be convenient) automatically.

The list goes on.

Triggers are not illegal. If you have a trigger to assist, that is not illegal. If you have a trigger to eat/drink, that is not illegal. If you have a trigger to fly upon entering the game, that is not illegal.

Going afk and having a series of triggers, or a script, to see you through a zone is illegal. There's a big difference between auto-assisting and botting.

People bitch and whine when they do something they know is probably not a good idea and they act like the victim when they get caught. The truth is that I have seen a LOT of people do illegal and shady things (And I'm also speaking for some in Core and not just Mael and some other clans) because they figure they can get away with it.

The main difference between doing things in the past and not being punished, and doing them now and being punished is rather straight forward..... It's a major war between the #1 and #2 clans on the mud. That's GOING to get the attention of a lot of the high imm's and they will feel obligated to enforce the rules when they see them being broken.

People can bitch about how they think they are being targeted and all that bullshit, but the fact is that if you get punished for breaking the rules, even if you might think it's a reallly minor infraction, then you have NO place to complain. You should have had the smarts to realize you were going to get caught and just not done it. Regardless of what you were allowed to get away with in the past.

Hmmmmm, I wonder what that means?! People (WNR) had suspected MAEL has used the specific two characters damned as bots for awhile. The fact that Kun has a specific command to order Yagrihm to charge (and you posted it!) was enough to seal it for most interested people, apparently including Chemosh. MAEL should consider themselves lucky that help rules says only to delete the bot, instead of the bot and its controller(s). It is likely that the entire MAEL clan has witnessed abuse like the above and did/mentioned nothing. Quit whining about mistreatment like you are innocent. No sympathy.

And then chemosh logs and puts one of my alts on the board then sits bans me. I didn't like sancho but at least he thinks he was doing something right. honestly its not feasible to form real 10mans anymore. there just aren't enough players. the imms need to realize this and either:
A) allow people to have multiis/bots to allow people to zone like we are used to. this appears to be the current situation.
B) decrease group limits to say 7-8 and buff chars again so that zones can be done with fewer actual players. and enforce botting rules (which as we can see is very difficult to do with current technologies ie running multiple servers and having advanced scripts)

of course there is always option c) do nothing and pretend there is no problem.
