    Propaganda queens still going strong even though still could never "man up" and fight against those imms that always seek to oppress you. How about, mael is the only group of people who when they find an edge in anything, make sure they abuse it so that it can never be used again. Thanks to you assholes Sancho is ruining the game.     Maybe Otlw quit because they knew you stack of pussies would never log on and fight? For a clan who likes war so much you guys are the biggest stack of chicken shit to ever pile up together. Grow a pair and have fun.
    
    Don't proclaim yourselves to be some masters of the mud when your 2 highlights of the wipe are when your opponent (Otlw) makes a mental mistake and loses 10 sets, and when you break a longstanding agreement that when peace was broken it wouldn't be broken by an ambush. Yes it's just a game, but this game is still political and built on trust and relationships. Enjoy your retirement Mael, it'll be a long one.

    Patrick - You're a tard, you knew that though right? Outlaws didn't quit after losing that, though that certainly was the decline of the wipe for us. Not sure why I'm even breaking it down to you, you're probably on your way home on the short yellow school bus as we speak.
    
    But please enlighten me with the following: When did Mael lose 10 sets of gear? and Where are Mael after they gave WNR's their Christmas present?

    Mael's been fighting imms way way before this whole 'wnr-whine-fest' started. Hoss comes to mind. Kael comes to mind. Now, Hoss was just being malicious for his own enjoyment(here's 2 cyans instead of 1 guys, among other stuff). And Kael, well he just logged in drunk one night singing NIN and decided to abyss mavlad for trash crimes. But that's neither here nor there.
    
    Oh, yea. Hey, I'm SO SORRY for breaking that non-aggression pact we made a YEAR ago. But, then miraculously, after that jump happened the mud was full of life again. Otlw's got more fun(allied with wnr ofc), mael was waiting in ambush at LEAST a few times a week. The cores/pwas I talked to said eq was loading more, so more fun to them too. Praise MAEL!
    
    And the liberators become the villains.
    
    Rather than enjoy the game play which WE invited you into, you'd rather whine about all the 'trashing/botting/cheating' mael does. And, it is common knowledge that if you spam wiz channel enough, send out your emails, or just chat with those imms in FEFnet with you, things get 'looked in to'.
    
    And ya Dima. We never disappeared after that christmas gift massacre. We were quite active actually. Up until some IMM who couldn't make a tick timer for the life of him decided that, after his 10minute observation of a few chars, rescue scripts and heal scripts are botting. And key chars are gone. You could call it the tipping point.
    
    Spare me the arguments to 'why', the hypocrisy is way too well known.

    I commend you Bob for keeping the propoganda coming. Basically it does work. The staff doesn't punish Mael nearly as harshly as other clans because you guys continually create a bias. We could talk about Hoss a lot, but your side benefited at times from him too (Tyson had cheater chars too), so it's not like it was all one sided, though the major public events were against you guys.
    
    I for one would like to see all the bots deleted and the botters punished. I'm fairly certain there are a LOT more out there. It's just not fair for a clan to "out work" another clan because they skirt around the rules un-noticed.
    
    Anyway, WNR would have loved to fight Mael head's up. Prior to the ambush we discussed it periodically for the same reasons you provided. (To spark the mud etc). Too bad none of the pk fights had anything to do with skill or ability.
    
    I expect next wipe the dynamics will be very different. We've pretty clearly moved out of the 2 top clan dynamic into at least 3, maybe more. This is more like the old school way and if we can get mages tamed, maybe we can have some old school battles. I think that's what most people want anyway.

    Actually, Mael's ambush of Weenor WAS a good thing for the mud, IMO. Sure, the ambush itself was kinda low, but the effect it had on the playerbase was nice. And besides, it's not like Weenor was going to be crippled in anyway shape or form by losing those first sets of eq that Mael got in that ambush.
    
    Now, I'm not much for eq, but it was nice just seeing the mud more active and knowing that the existing eq was actually being used, and changing hands.

    I tend to agree on your point about next wipe's dynamics. For years it's been 2 clans, Mael (BSP), and Outlaw. Everyone else just kinda came and went and didn't stick around long. Typically because everyone jumped ship the second a war started.

    We lost 9 sets in Ancient trap. Only 9 sets because backstabbing fuckface faggot haley was spared in payment for his fuckfacery. Yet we keep fighting and end up chasing enemies off mud.
    
    So far as Maels "quitting" if enemies would log more than trash mages and imms, you would see maels on in force. Its just lame to play a game sometimes when you have beat it in every imaginable facet.

    Wnr would have loved to log 10 non mages vs Mael 10 non mages. (or 1 mage or whatever was agreed to).
    
    Problem being, no one in Mael to trust to keep their word on an honest straight up fight. That and Mael would require 2+ hours of heal potion prep beforehand.
    
    It woulda been fun just to fight. Most of Wnr would have been glad to fight multiple times a day like Mael did vs Core, but it ended up being riskless mages.

    That's odd... I mean it's odd because noone in wnr -ever- asked me(1 of the 4 people who you could say 'lead' mael, er 1 of 3 - mavlad is just a mascot) for an arranged/even/non-mages fight. But, I clearly remember us logging a group of ten with one mage in it(me - the best mage ever) and the response from WNR in the next 5 minutes was - zoning chars off/all stunners on. And then some moronical shouts like, 'okay come on then fags'. classy.l
    
    But, whatever.
    
    Now, I can say as a leader in mael we would have fought even through arranged terms, because we play the game as is, for fun. Even though we'd prefer an ambush, big deal, we're up for whatever. Yet, whoever offered such a proposition? I've never heard anything. Did you ever offer that leeroy?
    
    No. None of you did.
    
    Now let me reiterate what I said in my earlier post:
    We made the game MORE fun for EVERYONE by jumping wnr. ALL major/minor clans were benefiting. Eq that normally is vacuumed into the wnr/mael tunnel is now being popped. BY THEM. But, YOU people just couldn't man up and deal with what happened. I broke my word after over a YEAR passed. GET-OVER-IT. And so YOU whine/complain and ruin it for everyone.

    Yeah, we didn't offer because we knew we couldn't trust you scumbags. You had just broke the ambush agreement. There was no timeline on that, it was just that if you went to war it wouldn't be via ambush. I'm sure you'd blame the imms if Wnr had done that to you.
    
    Basically you have a weird misconception of the timeline. Christmas you guys ambushed. Played actively for about 2-3 weeks, and then pretty much dwindled down to nothing. You guys did MINIMAL things to maintain your most elite items.
    
    Over holidays we more or less took a natural break (it was the holidays) and within 2 weeks had recovered about all the gear we lost, despite losing some back via ambush.
    
    Worst part of everything was getting mirror changed. From a zoning perspective, that's a huge kick in the balls for some fights, but the trend for arctic is to make things a pain in the ass now, which unfortunately is opposite to the effort to bring in new players. What good is bringing in a new player by your newbie area additions if your high end changes cause 2 to quit. But suf's isn't the place to discuss that I guess.

    I don't blame all 'imms'. You really have me mistaken. I blame YOUR imms who whine in wiz chat(that's the channel for all 31+'s for those who don't know).
    
    When some of our chars were abyssed is when we started to question. And then when the hypocrisy showed itself a lot of us just quit out-right.
    
    And if that seems cryptic it's meant to be. Because if you know what I'm talking about then you'll understand, and if you don't - the gist of it from them is - "We can, You can't".
    
    So, we are doing nothing now.
    
    And ya, mirror changes nothing. It was overpowered to begin with. I'm here for another 8hours leeroy. So, you can just as easily start a thread on the OFFICIAL forum about that too and I'll explain to you why it only hurts the game.

    Otlw split from old BSP and the remaining horde kept the name and this wipe had the imagination to called themselves Mael.
    There might be 1 or 2 players from the BSP of old left in Mael, rest are in Otlw.

    I find it ironic, that when part of outlaw, the number of times we would try fight up front v maels they wouldnt fight or would rent unless they had their full best 10man on or fully prepped, yet now maels are complaining of wnrs doing exactly same thing.
    
    Btw just to clarify: Cabal + Ahma (daneclan, finnclan and friends) were the oldschool BSP who then grew larger. Majority of oldschool BSP then left to form outlaw (danes + swedes + finns) while Mavlad and co. continued on with BSP name.
    
    So BSP now isnt the original BSP as such.

    Heh Leeroy that's brave words for a member of a clan that earlier dissipated after our attempt at war, and never fought anyone for entire wipe. It wasn't that long ago, people still remember. You 'discussed the war on irc' eh? :) Well, some plan, others do.
    
    Auz I'm positive there were some big straight up fights between Mael and Outlaw this wipe. I personally participated in at least 6. But clearly nothing like that would happen against WNR, them only logging trashstunners at every occasion.
    
    So all things considered - our major domination eq-wise, biased staff (nobody fell over themselves pursuing anyone but Yagrihm and Astibar), people lacking motivation, and no real chances for fighting anymore except ambushes - we just stopped playing.

    I like Patrick's optimism. If enemies stop playing because they "don't like to play the game we invited them to," then you successfully chased them off mud and that's a victory for you. If your own clan stops playing because they find ambushes 'lame', then that's no defeat at all because, after all, who wants to play if its not fun?
    
    And no, I'm not trying to mock you--having taken a few long breaks myself because of boredom with the mud, I certainly believe someone in mael or weenor, who's beaten far more of the game than I have, could get bored with things too. I just find it interesting how both sides like spinning it as a "victory" whenever they ruin the fun enough for their enemies that they quit for a while, and I wonder whether that's why people from the weaker clans often complain about the 2 top clan dynamic.

    No one wants to play a game where they are constantly harassed and are never able to get any fun out of it. Some unnamed clans were rather famous for doing that in the past when they decided to wipe out a clan, or even an individual on the game.
    
    People take this game far too serious. Just play it for the fun, and not to wipe out the enemy =)

    Monty, I'm pretty sure that since dan's comments were directed specifically at the guys still playing and complaining about how not fun it is, I'm pretty sure that means they weren't directed at you. Too bad you did quit though, your trash talk always seemed to be a lot less malicious and more in good fun than a lot of the guys who are still around.

But everyone in MAEL has pretty much quit or joined some other clan.. Other then Chuck who is AFK the entire time and has nothing to offer any group. Purly Sux. 4TW.
