    Dear BSP,
It's been really nice popping all your decays the past few weeks. It's almost like a brand new wipe, where all the shiny's end up in my hands. The only sad thing about it all is that you force your shittier follower-types to stay engaged in this "war"; that is, you're too stuck up to ask for peace and let these poor fools play the game. I guess it sucks for Yucky and co.
    Yours Truly,

  33. Drake · 17 Apr 2011
It is as it always is. BSP declares war on a clan, wipes them out, then moves onto the next one. All the while, the previous clans build up their strength, then when ready completely fuck BSP over.

In the end, BSP quits, using some excuse about things not being fun. All the while, quietly crying that they lost their sand box because they just couldn't play nicely.
  34. Kadaj · 18 Apr 2011
    This really escalated quickly!
  35. simba · 18 Apr 2011
@Maldick: That would be a really witty, creative response if you had actually pinned gordon with the right clan. Too bad gordon is an RQ multi. As for Shesh and the 3-4 others, they don't even leave the inn when we are online. Unfortunate that it only took that one real battle at Que Kul to break the BSP spirit and put you in your place with all of the other Alanis Morisette fan clubs.
To boot, you're the only whiney bitch for not actually getting peace from the enemies of BSP before leaving all of your "fodder" hanging out to dry... while you go and sip on your Keystone Lights and play your WoW characters.

PS: Nice use of hyphens! You-are-a-tool.
  36. daniel_1 · 18 Apr 2011
in bsps defense, wilds basically got chopped by bsp regularly and frequently. check the log quicklist, and youll find a large number of occasions where various well geared characters were mercilessly butchered with no retaliation.

on a side note, you should learn to value your enemies. you'll find the game quickly becomes pointless and boring without worthy opponents to fight... (or feed equipment). after all, you yourself stated the joy of reclaiming lost shinies - rather than repopping decays.

edit: as for gordon being rq, ive never heard of spoken to anyone called gordon.
  37. Kong · 18 Apr 2011
@simba - even then it wouldn't have been very creative, since it seems like an age-old holiday tradition to harp on Wild at this point.

@daniel_1 - it was Wild's plan all along to make BSP so cocky that one solid loss would drive them off the mud. :) In all seriousness, though, frequently and regularly getting chopped may be overstating their success. They chopped Wild at Kalaman and probably once after that, and then every log I see was ambushes against ragtag zoning parties. From the sounds of things here, they'll savour those small victories while they "dominate" their favourite video game by not playing it for the next six months.
  38. bryton · 18 Apr 2011
Think about it, this just give you more time to think of new ways to whine or new ways to have your imm chars cheat for you before we come back and take over the game. Or next wipe you can just not start playing until 4 months after wipe starts and by that time we will be done playing and we don't have to listen to your whining. Cause honestly it's fun beating up and bullying Wilds but it would be nice not having random chars abyssed and stripped due to wilds anger of being picked on.
  39. Matt|Morte · 18 Apr 2011
I have spent many intoxicated nights rocking the fuck out of Alanis Morisette. Why all this hate?
  40. auzandy · 19 Apr 2011
I find that not being a douchebag is a good way to avoid being abyssed or deleted. Some people should try it some times.

PS. Gotta say was disappointing that BSP leaders didnt agree to a short term ceasefire (month max) just to let both sides have a break, and maybe breathe some life back into the game. Nothing would have been lost by it in my opinion, and a lot could have been gained for everyone. Not sure of the thought process behind that decision..
  41. Kong · 19 Apr 2011
Bryton, most other people who suck at this game try to learn and get better instead of blaming other people for their own failures and making up baseless false accusations. Just a thought.

    Auz, "thought process"? Pride, probably.

Translation - It's been fun hiding behind BSP and laughing at wilds! However whenever I try and use my trashy chars to pk I always end up getting abyssed...QQ!!!"
  43. auzandy · 19 Apr 2011
pride? I dont think so..pure stubborness.

A truce would be a loss of pride, a surrender - definitely so, but a temporary ceasefire can be done with pride by both sides to re energise, relax, re-xp, re-equip, respell up by BOTH sides, and then at a set time get right back into the fighting!

I personally dont lose out by no ceasefire, but I have spoken with people on both sides who were for the break. Ah well - time to get back to it:)
  44. bryton · 19 Apr 2011
@ kong, I need to get better at this game ?

@ilya, I haven't been abyssed in years and I don't think I've had any chars that I've been pking with this wipe. Last wipe i had a level 30 mage i would pk with but oh well I think its fun :)
  45. Kadaj · 19 Apr 2011
So someone else decided to make a character named Bryton last wipe and pk with it. Interesting. Who is this Nooba fellow that proclaims he is Bryton, what a crazy person to want to be you!
  46. kreachor · 19 Apr 2011
My quick view on things. BSP was alot stronger than wild for most of the wipe. They raced to get legends faster than wilds, and therefor any battle would dramatically be better than Wild. Yes, from what I remember wild lost a nobash healer to abyss early on which hurt *I think, because I did not play first few months* What helped wilds is allying RQ to give wilds more time to zone and gain gear/ranks. I am not sure if I am totally off-base by this thought. Any opinions?
  47. Kong · 19 Apr 2011
@kreachor, BSP outraced Wild to legends and to spelled-up mages for sure. Wild regained a lot of ground when NOW split from BSP. Most kills against Wild after that point were ambushes against ragtag zoning teams. Seems like alliance didn't really happen until after RQ were already killing BSPs, then RQ and Wild started zoning together. Now Wild and RQ hate each other bitterly though and are all triggered against each other.

@bryton, not necessarily you personally. I don't know you. But in general someone would have to be pretty bad to make up excuses (especially blatantly false ones) for not doing well.
  48. kaa · 19 Apr 2011
Stop trashtalking, go find each other and fight! Or kill youself.
  49. keepitreal · 19 Apr 2011
Ok here's the deal. Bsp was winning the wipe in dominant fashion until nowclan did what they did. After that they won a few battles until RQ ditched wilds and smashed bsp, and bsp has been pretty much gone ever since. Now wilds get to zone and claim victory, good for them I guess. Hopefully aristox will stick to the 6 month wipe plan, cause this one is obviously over, and wipe the mud in like a month so the fun can all start again and bsp can have chance at revenge. Can't wait to see what happens and thats why arctic is bestest (wow is for faggots)

PS Wild getting that nobash healer abyssed HELPED them, or else they would've lost it to us. Wonder if the punishment would have been the same if we had done something similar. I'm thinking worse.

Declaring a wipe to be 'over' just because BSP got their pussies handed to them early this wipe is stupid. Maybe they ought to stop starting fights with EVERYONE by demanding loads, and claiming shit, and try to realize a game isn't fun when you are the only ones playing it.

    Re: Drake
I wasn't saying the wipe was over because bsp quit playing... the wipe is over because there's like 15 people on during primetime and every single clan had killed the hardest fights in the game months ago.. not to mention people have been legendary for 4 months now...I mean what the hell purpose is there for it to continue? + Aristox said 6 months wipes, which makes sense since people get legendary so fast etc etc...
  55. Kadaj · 20 Apr 2011
What they should do is not make the legendary ranks available with any rank points, make the first one available at rank 24, then 28 ect, that way they have something to play for, those ranks are pretty good.
  56. Shesh · 20 Apr 2011
I'm pretty much still winning the wipe in dominant fashion.
  57. mavlad · 20 Apr 2011
Did someone call that fight near QK a huge loss for BSP which made us quit? By that time we did quit about a month ago already. I think Shesh got more eq from wild ambushes after than we lost in that fight...
Anyway - wilds are wimpiest clan of the wipe. All they has is immortal info/backup.
Drake you're just a pathetic child. I don't know who you are but seems we took your toy one of the wipes ago and you can't forgive it still. All you're saying is clearly lie and propaganda. We didn't even jump a single clan - we have been jumped whole wipe over and over. Yet we did beat everyone all of them combined even.
Yes wipe is boring now and we just don't feel to play.
I logged a few times haven't seen rq+wild+now don't even form 10man anymore. What the fun fight these numbers? We have at lowest 10 ppl in irc. No challenge at all.
Enjoy zoning and killing NPCs which you like very much (whenever Shesh let you).

  58. kreachor · 20 Apr 2011
Wild and RQ are triggered? I just think its becoming that instead of having a common interest of fighting bsp, gear greed is becoming strong and wilds and rq's dont like other clan popping decays which is causing no more zoning together and what not.

And I personally log my character when I see Shesh on, he's one of the only guys that will prep up and try and fight.
  62. mavlad · 20 Apr 2011
I don't like just 'fight for the hell of it'. I always try to dominate and enjoy win at-all-cost w/o any casefire and that shit. Enemy jumping us and allying alltogether was the biggest fun i ever had in last wipes. This wipe is great - lotsa new stuff (especially new spells and legend) and enemy that not giving up. Maybe getting everything so easy is making wipe fun is little too short. I think people gets legend and having nothing to gain anymore is making it over. No goals is no fun to play. Don't think wipe would change it as well. Game needs more changes. So many changes coming(fun) in contrast t of stable months (boring)...
  63. bryton · 20 Apr 2011
Whoever said that BSP had more legendary chars at the start of the wipe is wrong. Wild had 10x the legendary chars when they started war and so did Rq. Andrews warrior didn't even get legendary until a while after he got huma shield. Bsp just figured out mages and how to use them before any other clan.

  70. Kong · 21 Apr 2011
I actually agree with Chris: posturing about fighting and then renting 3+ because of Shesh's online presence would be silly. Fortunately for everyone (including Shesh), no clan has ever done that... except maybe BSP, fearful that he will make them go reload his decays.

When Shesh logs on early in the morning, when there are only 6-7 people online (half of them BSP decay-repopping lackeys), if anything all those them there pussy-clans should be logging more people on! To give him hugs and bask in the halo-glow of his immense heavenly balls.
  71. Malthros · 21 Apr 2011
Arctic's fun in 2-3 month bursts but that's about it really. I can't imagine a wipe lasting for a year. 6-7 of those months will have maybe 20 people on at peak times.
  72. daniel_1 · 21 Apr 2011
actually the last time shesh and i were on at the same time on main characters we fought 10v10 in que kul and he died, after which he became far more elusive and wary of direct confrontation except attacking weak groups in ambushes.

fights however are more and more unlikely now. ive stopped playing and from what i understand so has 90% of bsp. rq is much less active, its mainly just wild playing now.

as for chris c, i dont know who you are, but you made a sweeping generalization thats blatantly false. the bottom line is shesh is the one hiding from the fights - but thats only because he picks and chooses when to attack because of his clans current situation.

and malthros and crew sure the first few months are fun of the wipe but if you wipe at 6 months even these rush periods will become routine/boring. year long wipes are much better, they give people time to reset and WANT to play again when it does wipe. I know that a lot of people, myself included, enjoy the 2nd half of the wipe in order to explore new areas, which there are plenty of.

You act like Shesh is the be all end all in pk, sure he preps up 100% of the time and quite possibly has a few green bottles here and there, but he's certainly killable and not as dangerous as people think. It's kind of funny how everyone in BSP has only one thing to defend against when people call them out for being pussies, oh yeah....you rent when the mighty Shesh is on! If he would ever go and fight people it would be a different story, but when he sits in the inn when he gets on, that's not very scary.

envy that your thief was nowhere close?

I know Shesh. He sucks. Except in his log analysis and football (soccer) comments. He sucks in everything else. Except in pkill too. But he sucks overall. He's a sucker, yeah.

Too much words in this thread. I couldn't read it to the end.

I like Shesh. I like Bruce, too. Are they both Russian?!

Let's see, Kadaj last wipe with gear + this wipes retardedly overpowered Legendary ranks, or Shpaxenblumber, I'd take my thief hands down. I'm not 'envious' of Shesh, he's a good player and I'm not taking anything away from him. But he's a thief....with probably 520 hp, there are so many things that can kill him just as fast as he can kill, I don't see what people are scared of. it's not like he fights anyway.

Bruce are you kidding? You actually READ all threads?? I just have a trigger in my brain to skip posts that are longer than 3 lines. Twitter-like posts are the way to go!
