The Halls of Vengeful Ambition
    Incessant hammering of iron on anvil brings a sharp ringing to this
furnace of a smithy. While most of the work done here seems to be toward
the making of horseshoes and repairing minor dents in weapons and armor,
the master smith has been known to craft some new items from time to time.
Cooling buckets surround the anvil and the occasional hiss released from
the cooling process indicates that they are often put to good use.

    im just going to be realistic, oja helped kill slurp with wild.. that still boggles my mind. rise had every right to attack va, which i am va but none the less, so rise dont play all weekend, now log monday and hit va. so we get oxen to help us get our eq back? sounds like a bitch move wtf.. im not happy about this at all! isnt rise already warring wild? why do we need oxen help? laf but thanks oxen anyway.. anyway shrug i might just play more pool. cuz this war just got stupid.. anyway thats how i look at it

    Not sure how to say this but, we were not there to help VA as much as the convenience to kill RISE. The log of RISE hosing down the neutral posse and fact we think they have been lying to us caused our aggressiveness towards RISE.

    It was just nice of VA to corral all the RISE into one corner for us.

    It was also funny to here Rampage whinefest afterwards saying he tossed back all gear to those neuts he hosed down, but he did have Honor's Face on him which was reason they pk'd the neuts. Liar!

    i dont disrespect oxen, they played hard to be the dominate clan. kudos to them, but va is strong enough we dont need the help of other clans in wars that we {OJA} laf, started. and myself having formed and lead several clans know how shitty it is to be completely fucked over by unwinnable odds, i think you caught VA/OXEN in the middle of another play date is what happend. so oxen was bored and got involved..

    Well Mr. Misinformed(brandon). We didnt request Oxen help. We were actually going to team up with wilds to fight RISE and in the midst of about to summon the wilds, RISE came in and killed some folks then i said lets go round 2, so they stuck around and then oxen showed up and the rest is history!

We were going to give all RISE gear back and peace until the creative name calling and complaining from RISE afterwards.     All you Oxen haters out there need to relax a bit. Fact is for the past 2 wipes Oxen/RQ has done more to help this mud as players than all other clans in terms of PK and generally helping legend/spell other people both clanned and neutral. There are those in Oxen I really can't stand much, but that is true with every clan. What is sad is that they have gotten to the point (at least this far in the wipe) that very few can compete with them or are willing to. Some of this has to do with mechanics and some of it has to do with having come up with a winning strategy as well as too much pride/fear of some to lose. Basicly, have become victims of thier own success.

    Reading all the comments about OXEN and POG, I think it's allways been the same. When Shriners were at top everyone hated them, same as Wild,Bsp,Cabal, or any other major clan. And whoever is at top that wipe are always cheaters, because god forbid they are just better players.
    Instead of asking Oxen to kill Pog because they are 10 man randoming shit, form all the neutrals and fight back, if you die lose gear... GO POP MORE AND TRY AGAIN. Don't cry about it, all the times you die and lose this wipe or this fight will make you better for the next one. If you never win, Try DDO or WOW. Point is MAN UP...GROW A PAIR.... AND QUIT CRYIN AND COMPLAINING LIKE A BUNCH OF 12 Year old old girls.
    This game was alot more fun back then because we were a bunch of teenage dumbasses who did random acts of stupidity, x that by 200 people playing and you never knew what to expect which equaled fun interesting. Now we're a bunch of old men who play it all safe. God forbid we lose a nobash, mantooth or honorsface because we're having fun. Or we get mass ripped 20x doin cyan, sleet, or whatever. So instead we gear up spell up and play it safe so we don't loose our shinies. Get bored decay our shit in rent and quit mudding. Seriously is it any more fun obliting then hitting extremely hard? It's cooler and sexier but the fun level is no different. I'd rather lose my gear fighting and learning than Inn Sitting/Decaying/crying about game mechanics and cheater spells clans.

    I'll happily rescind this line of thinking when you're willing to not go 6-9 v 1 on the first person to wander out of a stronghold then immediately spend the next hour poofing from hell to hades and back at flash gordon speeds and/or hiding in zones, instead relying on a more challenging configurations that are in spirit of the game.

    Not everyone in pog is like this, however, there is a predisposition to a playstyle that fits my post, and to date, I haven't seen a log that indicates any "losing" on the behalf of pog. To that I congratulate you on your flawless victory.

    It's completely banal, much like addressing the issue at all let alone or replying to it.
