A different sphere of skill? Agree. It's a sort of a model of a spherical stallion in vacuum. It's like watching porn tapes to learn skills of getting a girlfriend who would become your wife.
I definitely pointed out that a justified showcase of the skills would be a scenario with characters stripped down and using the same set of stock items. This has been done before (in Arctic tournaments) and has not been surpassed in cleanliness of competitive atmosphere up to this date.

Fact of the matter is that people like to read logs of Arctic. PK logs, tournament logs, funny-random shit logs - logs in general. I don't know why you are being such a purist... the declining player base and lack of other websites puts Suf's as the main channel for discussion about Arctic not mediated by the staff.
And what does Shesh has to do with any of this â besides the idea that you place him on a pedestal and revere his existence. The only issue in question here is that tournament logs were not posted. And when the majority of people want to see tournament logs... let them have their logs.

Al this site is generally daily arctic pk livejournal and always been. Its why any log with generally any kloot fit this site perfectly. I just miss ability to put tags on logs so you can sort em easy by clans/wipes/etc.

I do not dislike tournament logs as a class, I dislike the logs from tournaments in which competition is severed by inadequate starting gearing of the participants. I pointed out to the way I see it countered.
Why is it an adapted reality? Because in reality (well, we take Arctic as one here) the counterparts have gradually more ways to act, specifically, ways to take a tactical retreat and strike back at the moment of better odds. And a zillion of other ways of behaviour.
Another point I have already clarified is my weight or power of authority on this page... What in my previous statements made you think that I disapproved the logs? I have zero rights here. I posted my opinion on the matter and you all jumped up to set me as a scapegoat for the case of those logs not being posted? Where's the logic behind that? I don't understand.
The clause regarding Shesh was in reply to Kadaj's post on entertainment issues. I reminded the spectators that he (Shesh) has already brought up this topic once in these forums.
