Look at all this whining. We said we would not ambush BSP like we gave our word to wild, but BSP could not give their word not to ambush us. Somehow we are the bad guys, smh. I can see that BSP is mad but I don't understand why. At first I thought they wanted to fight, but they've avoided fighting for like 2 weeks, so I thought they'd ask for peace.. some people are never happy.

I'm sure wilds didn't even care if you gave them your word, also yeah why would you allow your enemy to choose when you should fight them? especially when you prepped to fight a clan who has no cyan spelled mages and half your numbers, what a joke.

I'm failing to see the complaints here. You guys sat there and held the zone for 3 hours so we couldn't repop an item we knew was loading. So the hostilities started there. Then we simply said, hey we don't want to fight. We won't ambush you if you have the common fucking courtesy of not doing the same. You couldn't do that so we did what anyone would do. We manned up and declared war. It doesn't matter about who's more powerful or who did Cyan. It was out of respect and you couldn't manage to do that. You have no one but yourselves to blame. And as far as what CORE has become, CORE has always been a tight knit group of friends, they don't back down and defend each other. I for one am happy to have joined them early in the wipe. I've known them for many years and nothing has really changed.

Interesting spin eric/kadaj.. But the truth is you pked someone for going into storms to locate. then expect people to not fuck with your zone and think something good is loading after you bring so much attention to it. So that leads me to believe you been dying for war.. Oh and the whole please don't ambush us for a few days we need to do cyan because we don't have enough nightmares to war yet was just funny to me. I literally laughed that bsp actually did not attempt an ambush.

Yes the real reason for war is because of one item you needed to have because you failed to reload your decay properly and came to the zone we were in already, and Eric declared war! but wait! no the "real" core leaders said nah, then because of the same item was loading again you guys came back and did the same thing again, yeah you said core didn't want to fight so what, we never said that we wanted to fight? so thanks for clarifying that the real reason for this war is because of a item that Eric needed so bad, next time don't just run into to a zone people are in already? and reveal that you clearly have a decay then try to be sneaky about it by running into the room we are in.
if you just had not did that we would of left the fucking zone after we cleared it but no you kept coming back in to check on it while we were still in it, multiple times when we were there just leveling up low level good align characters, you could of said hey I'm sorry for coming in to your zone like this, its just that we have a decay, I know for a fact Bob would of let you known when we were done and fucking left the zone, but because Eric dislikes bob and hates Mavlad, this is why we are in this "war" and why Eric divided his clan he was in last wipe in half because he hates Mavlad so he joins a clan who already had enough people but then decided he rally all his clannies from last wipe who are BSP this wipe to join him in CORE which he did and encouraged other people to leave and now Ilya even left us and deleted his character because of one item Eric needed so bad. Ilya, Mother Russia weeps for you! Clans should be balanced not over crowded people shouldn't divide clans and make people not play.

lol, nice reading. Reminds me of the old days. Nevertheless, to people's dismay, I must confirm that there is simply not enough bad blood between CORE and BSP to keep it as interesting as the old clan war sagas.

There is a lot of misinformation and given the background of the people that play in both clans, no real reasons for this war. To me it boils down to a poor course of action set in motion by humanity's old friend: Ego. I really don't want to dig into details but I will say that one CORE guy did not act abiding all UNO conventions regarding "ArcticMUD Peaceful Zoning" and then got his whole clan to back him up, which is beyond my understanding and leads me wondering if everyone got the memo about the facts, before taking that decision. My theory is that they had gear and spells and wanted to use them, which is fine.

laugh all this back and forth is silly, CORE has never been the aggressor and just because we where doing cyan doesn't mean we where spelling up mages to declare war on other clans, just because that is they way BSP thinks doesn't mean that is they way we roll. Funny we declare a war with out a trash jump tactic and we are the bad guys? Now that said we have never backed down or ran from a fight, We were being scoped out located well before even the whole zone/eq thing happened. There was and is a lot of dis information on both sides, and even from clans that are not involved. rumors and rumors of war, has been the way of the politics of arctic for as long as I have played. No hard feelings though it is just a game.

i haven't posted in a while, but after reading these comments it makes me just take a step back and reflect.

i don't see the problem... a war in arctic is simply a part of the game. i have friends in all the clans, but i don't take these things personally. all it is is gear... who has it, who wants it.. and what is the best way to get it. you end up playing with it for a while but in the end a war is just another way to test your skills.

why people are getting mad... i just don't understand. it's too bad people can't just be like, 'let's fight. we will battle it out in 3 10 v 10's and then call it quits. ' after that, people go back to their zoning or whatever they enjoy doing and until they start another war.

i feel real hate for something that should be fun.
