Nor do I regret it.
I would rather DT a thousand times than die to these people. But I'd rather die to these people a thousand times than standby and do nothing as these pathetic scum slaughter innocent people.
At least I had the balls to use my real chars, and wasn't hiding behind some unknown crap, like corey and adam love to do so much.
id use real characters but you're usually inned when we are on
Why keep rolling new shit chars to random with?
Usually I don't waste time with you guys when you aren't being human degenerates.
What's even worse is that only asses can stand asses. That's why they band together, and that's why there are only asses left IN the game.
It truly is scary to think that these people actually are walking around out there, being their typical, narrow-minded, malevolent and malicious selves.
Jierk: I don't give a crap that mooh died. I'm not talking about mooh. I'm talking about OTHERS. You know, that perplexing concept of the existance of other people. The only reason I was in that position was because I was trying to help others. I doubt you could understand that.

'that guy is so contradicting to'
'he wrote it for nothing more than impowering himself'
'and he is doing exactly what he advises against'
Exactly. We let loose our ambitions in an arena that doesn't have serious consequences. You may want to go punch your neighbor, but you don't because society will kick your ass if you do.
If you don't see the moral implications of stealing time and effort from other players without just cause, then your IRL morals are shotty as well.
Then you got the people who pipe up 'Well it's just a game'. Other than being a pointless statement, its untrue. This isn't a game of chess, quake deathmatch, or a game of baseball. This is character development. You spend your precious life time developing a character, time you cannot get back. Of course it is a choice as to how we use this time, some like to watch TV, some like to paint, some like to MUD. But in the end, Real life and game ilfe are heavily intertwined.
Corey's and Adam's boner for me (hatred) shouldn't exist, if it was 'just a game'. They'd laugh it off and leave me alone. No, I insulted them. And they have to repay that. That has nothing to do with the game. That's an IRL emotion going on in their sloshy brains. The game is simply a medium to reach from one IRL person to another. We bring our needs/wants/personal attributes into the game.
People who come up with lame, or egostatistical reasons as to why its okay to random, are only trying to convince themselves that its okay, as opposed to actually trying to think objectively to realize the overall scheme of things.
You shouldn't be fined money because you walked out of your house at 8:05 AM instead of 8:06 AM from some random people who were walking down the road at the time.
It's WRONG. Wrap your puny little brains around that, and you'll be that much better.
I don't say things to be popular. I say things because I feel they need to be said.
So if you can't handle that, Deal with it!
actually im not sure where i was going with that but i think i made my point, whatever it was
Alleria: You just showcased the very ignorance I've been talking about. I guess the part where I sated that I don't say things to be popular, was over your head.
Doobie: You've fulfilled your ass-quota for today, thanks.
Fredrik: Boo hoo! To you too!
In addition, I would say PK is probably the most interesting and dynamic part of the game. Old players generally stick around not because of their love of zoning or eq but because they really have fun in large scale clan wars.
This mud is basically like a multiplayer warcraft game. There are limited resources, which creates a competitive environment. Thus, with death only having relatively mild reprecussions, players band together and attack other players, etc. It doesn't even need to be for items, it can just for superiority/challenge. The very idea of this game is that it is a separate domain from reality. If I kill you in starcraft, I still am taking away all that time you spent bulding up your economy and amassing your forces, but its a competitive environment and that's why people play. If you're here to make friends, you might want to think about an AOL chat room or something instead.
I have never said that I'm against pk. If large clans want to slaughter each other, that's fine.
What I'm against is specific needless killing of people who've done nothing wrong. It's not about rules, it's about people trying to enforce some sort of moral standards onto themselves.
I like arctic for the game. I even think pk adds depth to the game, if someone pisses you off, or something. But there are limits to what seperates a reasonable, decent person, from a complete jackoff.
andrew 1, rurh 0.
If you don't like the pk situation here then leave. Unless you want to continue trying to enforce your "moral standards" like some sort of fucking pig.
www.pokerroom.com, someone play with me!
Eric: Yeah, he said something that a jackass would. Is that what increases this number? If so, I'm perfectly fine to stay 0.
Ninda: Yeah I do, and it all seems to go into one ear and out another. I think Arctic's game virtues outweigh the trash the assholes bring to the game. Therefore I stay.
Haley: Yeah.
Brandont: Whether I die or not has no affect on what's right or wrong.
Dia: Sorry, can't help you there.
Corey: One word, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA". It's a scalable word, so that makes it cool. Haven't you been trying already? With relatively little success.
Chris: I die plenty often. It doesn't seem to make a difference though. But If forgot you simpletons are easily amused by barbarically wreaking your wrath on those less fortunate than you, and unable to defend themselves. I believe those types are called bullies, and are inherently cowards.
Btw, Jierk. Come down to SE Ohio and I'll box you anytime you want, hehehehe.
No one cares about, or respects, what you think.
Jierk: Where do you live? My gloves or yours?
